Status: Seasonal, Winter

The City of Detroit Lakes is seeking dependable and motivated individuals to join our Ice Arena team for the winter season. This position involves performing semi-skilled tasks to operate and maintain the arena building, including janitorial duties, running the ice edger, and operating the Zamboni. Work schedules vary and may include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays. Duties and responsibilities vary in frequency and duration from day to day.

Requirements:

Minimum age 18
Class D Driver’s License
High School diploma or GED equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work independently
Ability to perform physical duties, make decisions, and solve problems

Wage Information:
$19.51/hour
