Journeyman Line Worker
Detroit Lakes, MN, is a thriving and vibrant community offering exceptional amenities, an outdoor enthusiast’s paradise. The Detroit Lakes Public Utilities Electric Department is actively seeking a Certified Journeyman Line Worker to become a vital member of our dedicated team.
Position Overview: This role involves performing advanced, skilled tasks in constructing, maintaining, and operating overhead and underground electrical transmission and distribution systems.
Qualifications:
- Preferred:
- Minnesota State Journeyman Lineman License
- Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Completion of a certified Line Worker Apprentice Program (8000 hours)
- Minimum of four (4) years’ experience as a Journeyman Lineman with rubber glove experience
- Certifications in First Aid, CPR, Pole Top, and Bucket Rescue
- Class A CDL Driver’s License
Salary:
- $94,162.00 ($45.27/hr.) – $97,136.00 ($46.70/hr.), depending on qualifications and experience.
