City of Detroit Lakes – Outdoor Ice Rink Attendant

Location: Detroit Lakes, MN
Status: Seasonal, Winter

The City of Detroit Lakes is hiring friendly and reliable Outdoor Ice Rink Attendants for the upcoming winter season. Attendants will work weekday evenings, weekends, and holidays (weather dependent). Responsibilities include opening and closing the warming house, cleaning the ice sheet, monitoring skaters, maintaining a clean and safe facility, and reporting accidents.

Requirements:

  • Minimum age 16

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent

  • Excellent communication skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Ability to perform physical duties, make decisions, and solve problems

Wage Information:
$19.51/hour
